How strange how fate works...4 months ago, i would not even dream of coming to Aussie...my only dream is to step in UK. But then, i got to work in one of the leading company in Aussie, operating in KL as one of the branch and then wooshh... Brisbane and now Melbourne.. i never thought that it would be this fast. I mean, i just went back from Brisbane nearly 2 months ago and now im in Melbourne. My reaction to tis trip is not as entusiasm as the first. partly because im a bit busy in KL with the new database thing. as much as i dun embrace it with an open arm, and partly because i wasn thinking that maybe somebody else should come, not me again. it wouldnt be fair isnt it? but oh well...they'd ask for somebody with my background so it's me again! * * * * After 2 weeks, even the beautiful Melbourne could lost its sparks to me. I rented a car during weekend and invited some frens (of my colleague). And of we went, all 4 crazy-headed girls. First, wen went for a shopping spree. That's the purpose of having a rented car. I really wanted to but the kitchenware for my sisters (even though I dunt quite know how will i suppose to bring them back). but that's can be arranged later - that's what i told myself when i was busy choosing all that). So we headed to DFO early in the morning, and after a couple of hours in the World Kitchen, I was so amaze at myself for having the power to purchase and purchase and more purchase. And I wasnt the one who's persuading others but soon, the other girsl started piling up their glamourous Corelle, and Pyrex and some other storage and earthstone products onto the counter. I ended buying a dozen of loose pieces of plates, a whole dinner set for 6 person, some caserole dishes, high quality of baking tray, and a awhole set of pots for cooking and storage. There was a moment of panic though, when I realized that I left my purse at home. Luckily, all the money was in my jean's pocket, so I was saved by the old Levi's. Then, only then we realized, we bought a full bonnet of kitchenware, and we were delirious of doing more shopping. Crazee? yap! But since I still had to save money for my next trips, even though I found it very difficult for me to refrain myself from buying a gorgoues Guess handbag and a pair of seasoned Abercrombie and Fitch's jeans, I finally succeed to refrain myself. We had a great day, i'd been laughing all day. Apparently, my Egypt-new-friend has very warp sense of humor. and sometimes she could said things that made us laughing all way. We drove to the mountains, with beatiful scenery all way up to the Sky High and then to St Kilda, breathing in a sooo romantic-and-beautiful-but-not-so-perfect-as-my-bf-is-not-here sunset. And then there was a moment when we're on the way up to the mountain, and I started winding down the car window so that I could feel the cold and wind and smelling the pines, an dthis girl Noha started saying to herself "ooohh its all beautiful, and cold and smell of woods and trees..and MY ARMPIT!!!" oopps!! we're sooo hilarious and started laughinga nd teasing her all day. What was that! Smells of her own armpit?? She said it was supposed to be heard only by herself. well..unluckily, if u're so loud all people around you can actually heard you...macam ape ntah pompuan tuh..giler klaka.. and then we stopped at one of the tea house,Miss Marple's, drank tea and ate scones with the tasties jam and cream i've ever taste. and also sundae..which is sooo marvelous as they put a lot of cream and strawberies and ...a CANDLE on top of it..it was Zura's besday and we all started singing and the rest of the guest started singing along. she was all blushing like somebody's new red handbag by the time she blew up the candle. and THAT is the most memorable birthday celebration i've ever see...and it was sooo sweet and i wish one day i'll get that simple, sweet and memorable birthday like that.. hopefully... and even though i'm broke, i might be one of the luckiest and happiest person in the world.. and i'm so thankful for that..
