Me!

I'm simple, yet complicated. Am working, but always broke! Friendly, and talkative never know when to stop! Love shopping, but so overweight, none of the clothes fit me! Love....

........why can't life be this simple?

rambling is equal to membebel! -- January 16, 2008 12:53 p.m.

im definitely going to melbourne. this sunday nite!!!

and the works suddenly pilling up. oh dear, i hate leaving it to my colleagues to finish up e'thing.

anyway, my Awal Muharram hols were good. well, except the part where i have to buy another expensive plane tix as i missed the first one. ironic isnt it? i save my salary for my UK trip and suddenly this month, i realized that i cant save it as i over budget a few things. plane tix, and my trip to melbourne. i just hope that i can save a bit after that..

Melbourne is a beautiful city. That's what i heard anyway. i do hope i'll be enjoying myself there. JJ has been saying that i'll be holidaying there but the thing is, i'd rather afraid of what i might do there as this time, i'll be working on a few projects. and i cannot rest assured as i know those projects are different from what we have in here rite now. being an independent group, we tried to do our tasks as much and as good as we can do. however, some engineers who are ignorant of our technologies and capabilities make it harder for us.

GIS in Malaysia is quite a new thing. even tho i can say that most of the agencies claim that they're having the best GIS and doing a lot of things, but still to compare with overseas, we're really not that advance. this technology has been using as a tool for decision making or to support decision making without having to be biased towards other decision making tools.

i can feel the frustration sometimes. i can see a lot of potential in my office. even for our 'big' project, me and my colleagues feel that we shud use this capability to enhance our decision making such as to find the best suitability places for wells and all those geotechnical thingy. still, what we do nowadays is only helping them to find places, manually instead of using GIS. which can be much faster, and reliable. owh well...there are still a long way to go.

some of the engineers, who doesnt understand what we have to cope with to produce those kinds of maps and drawings, always annoy me. a few of them usually made us feel 'small'. like..hello..some of us may have better education and had much harder experience than them, and better knowledge. but we never tried to underestimate any of them, and sometimes they have to feel grateful coz we provide a lot for them, and contribute a lot too.

things like " thats not how u suppose to do..."

or "i wanna it this way, not that way..."

or "why did u do that? is that necessary? do u know autocad?.."

those are the things that i hate most. and i do hate it whenever they said something that make me feel like i am being underestimate.

yahh..well what goes around comes around..

:) ok. im done rambling about my work. lets face next week with a new spirit as im gonna be working along side all the GIS experts and will grab all that i can in...3 weeks?

wuuhoooo...!!!
